WORLD DAY OF REMEMBRANCE FOR ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT VICTIMS 🕯️

THEME ‘THAT DAY’
The world day of remembrance for road traffic accident victims is commemorated on the third Sunday of November each year.
Passengers, Pedestrians and Cyclists Association (PAPECA) joined RTSA and other stakeholders on this important day with the Theme ‘That Day’ this theme tells a story of each accident victim who have died or seriously injured on the roads and to acknowledge the suffering of all affected victims, families and communities.
The day is important to PAPECA and all those involved in promoting road safety and advocating for urgent action, it is a day in which we can reach out to road users on how accidents change peoples lives.
Let’s practice caution and avoid over speeding, drunk driving and be on the look out for other road users to avoid traffic accidents that change peoples lives.On this day we pay tribute to all the lives lost and injured in road traffic accident.🕯️
As PAPECA we commit to promote and advocate for safer and friendly roads for vulnerable road users.
