PAPECA CALLS FOR ACTION FOLLOWING ANOTHER TRAGIC ROAD ACCIDENT
The Passengers, Pedestrians and Cyclists Association (PAPECA) is deeply saddened by the loss of life in a road accident that occurred today in Chingola. This incident, which claimed the life of a pedestrian, highlights the ongoing challenges of road safety and the vulnerability of non-motorized road users.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased during this difficult time.
As an association, we continue to stress the importance of measures to enhance safety on our roads. These include better enforcement of traffic regulations, infrastructure improvements to protect pedestrians and cyclists, and increased accountability for all road users.
This tragic event reinforces the urgency of addressing these concerns to prevent further loss of life.
